My job gives me a 5 week vacation in the summer and I spent some of that time stitching. I got a lot completed. 🙂
Peace by Imaginating -completed and my starting point at the beginning of July.
My LNS was having a 40% off sale for charts 2015 and older, so of course, I had to make some purchases.
I also got “I love you more than all the stars” by Bent Creek. I stitched on bookmark fabric. One of the twins claimed this right away for his room.
I also finished Winter Quilt by Imaginating. I hadn’t worked on this one since 2013!
I also finished Pink Flamingos by Tiny Modernist.
I am working on the Chocolate pattern from Kit and Bixby now but forgot to take a picture. Back to work, school and sports for the kids means my stitching time is practically gone. We’ll see how far I get. See ya next time,
My family’s crazy spring schedule has really cut into my stitching time. I did manage to finish Promise Me by Lizzie Kate for my MIL’s birthday.
The only other project that I worked on was Peace by Imaginating. Here is my progress since my last update in March.
Until Next Time,
I picked up an already started project instead of a new one. Yay for me! Here is my progress since last time I worked on this one. I stitched the white snowflake and started the P in peace. I am in love with the colors so I am not sure why I put this one down!
I finished Easter Egg Hunt by Mill Hill Beads. It didn’t take me too long, considering I don’t have much time to stitch. I absolutely love this one! Who knows what my next project will be? 🙂
Here is my progress on Easter Egg Hunt. I am getting there.
One of the local libraries has an annual craft supply sale. People donate unwanted craft supplies and the library keeps the profits. I donated a lot of cross stitch books, magazines and kits that I knew I wouldn’t use. It was a great way to pare down! I only spent $3 on the kits below . I think this was successful all the way around! Now I just have to learn how to do plastic canvas. haha
I made a little progress on Easter Egg Hunt by Mill Hill. Here is where I was at the beginning of the week. Happy Stitching! Mary
I have to laugh when I see that my last post was a month ago. I was so sure I would finish my pumpkins that weekend. Needless to say December flew by and I didn’t finish them until last week during Winter break. I decided not to add the pumpkins on parade words. I also cut my fabric too small and had to trim the vines on the side. Here it is!
I also made this freebie from Lizzie Kate. http://lizziekate.com/peacejoylove-charlotte2002.pdf I didn’t get to make it into a card as planned but it will be ready for next year, right?
I just started on a Mill Hill Bead kit for Easter called Egg Hunt. I like winter time as our schedules are a little less busy and I feel like I have more time to stitch. Here is what the completed chart will look like and my start.
