A Finish

I finished this one in August.  I just never got around to posting it.

I have not stitched very much in the last few months due to my kids and their busy schedules.  Now that it is getting dark earlier, I may have a little more time to stitch at night.  or at least until winter sports begin!  I have started working on my Mill Hill birch tree kit again.  I think I am about halfway done.  I will try to post a pic soon.  This is where I was last time I worked on it in the spring.

Love One Another

I have been looking for this pattern for ages and no one has it.  On a whim, I checked out the Imagainating website where I first saw it.  I went ahead and ordered it.  It came in 2 days, so here is my new project; Love one Another.

Well, it has happened again

Spring is such a busy time for my family.  We had 3 different soccer teams, a baseball team and a track team to keep up with besides school work and tutoring.  My oldest was inducted into the Junior National Honor Society and received an academic award for best effort amongst his whole team of 110 students.  We are so proud of these accomplishments!  Needless to say, I haven’t done any stitching.  I am never home!  Only one more week of this crazy spring schedule.

I finally started thinking about end of the year gifts for teachers.  (Just 9 more days of school.)  I stitched up one of Lizzie Kate’s free designs this weekend.  Lizzie Kate Remember Me   I changed the colors.  I need to stitch at least one more.  Hopefully, I can stitch up a little gift card pouch to attach this to.  If I run out of time, it will become a card.

Bon Bimi

I had a finish a few weeks ago but couldn’t show it.  It was a gift for my mother in law’s birthday.  Here is Bon Bimi by Glory Bee.  I didn’t stitch the words.  I like the design better without them.  I am very happy with how it turned out even though I made a color switch error.

Not much going on…yet

I started on the Stoney Creek Halloween project.  I didn’t get very far.  I am having a hard time counting stitches on the even weave fabric I purchased.  Maybe I am just an aida girl at heart.  Here is my (sad) start on the bat in the jeepers creepers section and what the finished project should look like.

I also ordered some new stash from Rainbow Stitchery.  The owner is closing her online shop and was having a great sale.  I think I spent $20 for everything I bought.  Here is the website.   http://www.rainbowstitchery.com/catalog/

Snow Guide

Appropriately enough, I finished Snow Guide by Lizzie Kate yesterday on a snow day.  It was more of an ice day but still the first “snow day” of this school year.  I wish the white stood out better but I guess my fabric choice was too light.

I am looking to start Stoney Creek’s Halloween pattern of the month design next.
