Mickey Mouse

I made this cute little Mickey Mouse for one of my son’s teachers who is a big Disney fan. I found the pattern here. http://www.crossmenot.blogspot.com/2010/05/mickey.html I love sarajessica’s blog and have used a lot of her designs for cards and such. I just feel like the color on Mickey’s mouth is off. Any suggestions on a color change before I finish him into a card??

Finally got my Lizzie Kate Santa completed! Woohoo! sorry for the bad picture.

Almost finished with Santa

I have to admit, these spring sports are seriously cutting into my stitching time. Oh well, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love to watch the boys play and I get to see friends I haven’t seen in a while. win/win New Goal is to finish Santa this coming weekend. All that is left is half a tree, half a beard and Santa’s hat. I got this!

Didn’t meet my goal, but still trying

The season has begun!  Spring sports.  My oldest is playing for three teams this spring and one of the twins is playing t-ball.  Looks like my nights and weekends are shot until June. It is going to be hard to squeeze in some stitching time.  I will keep plugging away, maybe Santa will get finished this weekend.  I stitched three more presents and some more of Santa’s jacket this week.  

 

Lately, I have a big desire to make the abcs of parenting by Lizzie Kate.  Too many ideas and not enough time!

Spring Break Fail

I had all kinds of stitching plans for spring break. They didn’t quite work out. I caught a cold from my sons and did not stitch for the last three days. 😦 Here is where I am at with my LIzzie Kate Santa. Hopefully, I can finish it up this weekend because I miss working on my lighthouse.
